Sam Hoover, graduated magna cum laude with a BS inGeneral Science from the University of Notre Dame. He subsequently obtained his M.D. with honors from the University of Iowa and his MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health. He obtained his JD from Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois.

Sam Hoover is Board Certified in Anesthesiology. He was the President of the medical staff and Member of the Board of Directors at a prestigious private hospital in the Chicago area.

Sam Hoover has appeared in State, Federal and Appellate Courts. He is a member of the Illinois and District of Columbia Bar, as well as the Federal Trial Bar and the U.S. Supreme Court Bar. He has been a member of the Health Care Council of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Health Law Committee of the Chicago Bar Association, the American Health Lawyers Association, the Health Care Section of the American Bar Association, the American and Illinois Trial Lawyers Associations

Sam Hoover has represented physicians, their families and other clients in a variety of transactional and litigation matters. Physicians typically retain him to advise them on business, employment and asset protection law. He regularly consults with physicians, hospitals and other health care organizations concerning medical staff and risk management issues. He represents persons who have substantial disputes with insurance companies, hospitals or nursing homes. Law firms regularly ask him to advise them on health law and health care litigation issues.
